Majalah ASIAN Geographic mengadakan lomba foto “ASIA WITHOUT BORDERS PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 2009″.
Lomba foto ini bisa diikuti oleh para fotografer amatir maupun profesional, dengan beberapa kategori obyek antara lain yaitu foto landscape, manusia, arsitektur maupun kehidupan alam liar (wildlife). Dari masing-masing kategori tersebut akan diambil satu juara dan runner up, serta satu buah grad prize sebagai juara umum. Foto pemenang akan ditampilkan pada pameran Asia Without Borders Photography Exhibition.
DEADLINE
Kontest akan dimulai pada: 1 January, 2009 at 0000 hours dan ditutup pada: 30 September, 2009 at 2359 hours, Waktu Singapore.

ASIAN Geographic is looking for special photographs from talented amateur and professional photographers that capture a striking image of Asia’s land, people, architecture or wildlife. One winner and runner-up will be selected from each category. A grand prize will be awarded to the best overall picture as judged by our panel of editors. The top photographs will be exhibited as part of an Asia Without Borders Photography Exhibition.

1. FACES OF THE EARTH
The mountains, jungles, forests and seas of Asia are unique in the world. Images that capture Asia’s physical beauty and sense of place.
2. FACES OF ASIA
From ancient tribes to modern city dwellers, intimate and evocative portraits of people at work and play.
3. FACES OF THE WILD
Whether deep on a reef wall or deep in a rainforest, portraits of the planet’s creatures, big and small.

FACES OF FREEDOM
Abstract images of animals, people and places of Asia. From the Lomo to the Ixus, let your imagination and creativity loose! Limited to individuals 21-years-old and below as of 30 September, 2009.
